    Jamie G Matheson
    Jamie became Chairman of Saracen in 2014, following his tenure as Chairman at Brewin Dolphin for 8 years. Jamie was formerly a Director at Scottish Radio Holdings, Maven Income & Growth, STV, Scottish Financial Enterprise and Latchways. He has a keen interest in the sea, especially wooden boats and ships, and it is no surprise that amongst his varied charitable interests, he is also a director of The HMS Victory Preservation Company.

    Graham H Campbell
    Having joined Saracen in 2011 as a major shareholder, Graham is the Chief Executive, as well as the Manager of the TB Saracen Global Income and Growth Fund. His previous roles included directorships at both Edinburgh Partners and Edinburgh Fund Managers, as well as Head of Retail Funds at SWIP, and a spell with National Mutual & General Accident. Graham was a former Commonwealth medallist at Judo, and remains involved in the sport as a 6th Dan.

    Bettina Edmondston
    Bettina is an Investment Director and co-manager of the TB Saracen Global Income and Growth fund. She joined Saracen in 2015 from Apo Asset in Germany where she co-managed the Global Healthcare Fund. Having started her career at Brewin Dolphin, she has worked both as a sell side analyst (Kepler Capital Markets) and buy side portfolio manager (Alliance Trust, Kames Capital) covering global stocks across most sectors. Bettina likes to travel, ideally off the beaten track, however, closer to home she enjoys being out on her motorbike.
  • David Clark
    David manages the TB Saracen UK Alpha and TB Saracen UK Income funds. His investment career has spanned over 25 years with most of this focused on UK small and mid cap companies and, apart from a brief spell as a NED of a couple of small quoted companies, he worked at Ignis Asset Management where he was ‘AAA’ rated by Citywire for his UK Small Cap Fund performance and at Scottish Mutual Assurance. He enjoys sailing and even crossed the Atlantic once, just for the fun of it and still harbours the dream of island hopping around the Pacific one day.”
  • Joanne Keir
    Joanne is the Compliance Director. Having joined in 2017, she began her career as a retail Bank Manager for Santander then became Head of Training & Competence for a national IFA. Laterally Joanne was a Financial Planner and Manager of Turcan Connell’s Family Office. Joanne is a keen equestrian and enjoys teaching her two children to ride.
  • David Taylor
    David joined in January 2021 as a Business Intelligence Manager. He entered the world of Investment in 2011 at JPMorgan in Edinburgh before undertaking a year in New York City with UBS Global Asset Management. On returning home to Edinburgh, David spent the next seven years at Investec Wealth & Investment as an Investment Manager where he had responsibility for managing over 350 multi-asset portfolios totalling £200m of client assets. During this time, he trained as a Chartered Wealth Manager and became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment in 2019. David enjoys having an active lifestyle spending a lot of his free time hitting or kicking a ball around a court, course or pitch.
  • Alasdair Birch
    Alasdair joined Saracen in September 2021, having previously worked as a Deputy Fund Manager and Investment Analyst at SVM Asset Management. Alasdair joined SVM in 2012 from BNP Paribas Investment Partners UK, where he was a junior portfolio manager within the European mid and small cap team. After falling into the world of finance following a degree in Physics and Astronomy, he is still an avid but strictly amateur follower of both industrial and academic science developments.
  • Peter McKellar
    Peter McKellar has spent nearly all of his working career in private markets, in particular private equity and infrastructure investment management and direct operating management. He retired in September 2020 as executive chairman and global head of private markets for Standard Life Aberdeen plc, where he oversaw investment management activities across private equity, infrastructure, real estate, natural resources, and certain private credit capabilities, totalling £55 billion of AUM.
  • Martin Gilbert
    Martin Gilbert has a long history in asset and wealth management. He co-founded Aberdeen Asset Management PLC in 1983 and was chief executive officer from 1991 to 2017. During that period Aberdeen Asset Management PLC grew, through a combination of organic growth and strategic acquisition, to become one of the world’s leading independent asset managers with £308 billion of AUM.
