    Jamie G Matheson
    Jamie became Chairman of Saracen in 2014, following his tenure as Chairman at Brewin Dolphin for 8 years. Jamie was formerly a Director at Scottish Radio Holdings, Maven Income & Growth, STV, Scottish Financial Enterprise and Latchways. He has a keen interest in the sea, especially wooden boats and ships, and it is no surprise that amongst his varied charitable interests, he is also a director of The HMS Victory Preservation Company.

    Graham H Campbell
    Having joined Saracen in 2011 as a major shareholder, Graham is Deputy Chairman, as well as Co-Manager of the TB Saracen Global Income and Growth Fund with David Keir. His previous roles included directorships at both Edinburgh Partners and Edinburgh Fund Managers, as well as Head of Retail Funds at SWIP, and a spell with National Mutual & General Accident. Graham was a former Commonwealth medallist at Judo, and remains involved in the sport as a 6th Dan.

    David Keir
    David is CEO and Co-Manager of the TB Saracen Global Income & Growth Fund. Prior to this, David worked for SWIP where he was an Investment Director on the UK Equities desk and Head of Research. David originally trained as a Chartered Accountant (CA) and is also a CFA Charter holder. David is a keen golfer and claims to have been the youngest person in the UK to score a hole in one at 9 years old.

    Bettina Edmondston
    Bettina is the Global Investment Analyst. She joined Saracen in 2015 from Apo Asset in Germany where she co-managed the Global Healthcare Fund. Having started her career at Brewin Dolphin, she has worked both as a sell side analyst (Kepler Capital Markets) and buy side portfolio manager (Alliance Trust, Kames Capital) covering global stocks across most sectors. Bettina likes to travel, ideally off the beaten track, however, closer to home she enjoys being out on her motorbike.
  • Scott McKenzie
    Scott is Head of Research and co-manages the TB Saracen UK Income and TB Saracen UK Alpha funds. He joined Saracen in August 2014. Scott’s investment career spans over 20 years and has included spells running UK equity funds for Ignis, Aviva Investors and Martin Currie. His sporting interests include supporting Partick Thistle and walking his cocker spaniel. Scott still dreams of being a guitar hero one of these days.
  • Ellie Sluys
    Ellie is Communications Manager for the business, with responsibility for client communications, marketing, PR and branding. Having joined in 2017, she began her career as a financial journalist and latterly worked as PR Manager for The Hut Group. Ellie enjoys travelling, eating out and chasing after her two young sons.
  • David Clark
    David works with Scott on our UK funds and his investment career spans over 25 years. It has largely been concerned with UK small and mid cap companies and, apart from a brief spell as a NED of a couple of small quoted companies, he worked at Ignis Asset Management where he was ‘AAA’ rated by CityWire for his UK Small Cap Fund performance and at Scottish Mutual Assurance. He enjoys sailing and even crossed the Atlantic once, just for the fun of it and still harbours the dream of island hopping around the Pacific one day.
  • Joanne Keir
    Joanne is the Administration & Compliance Manager. Having joined in 2017, she began her career as a retail Bank Manager for Santander then became Head of Training & Competence for a national IFA. Laterally Joanne was a Financial Planner and Manager of Turcan Connell’s Family Office. Joanne is a keen equestrian and enjoys teaching her two children to ride.

    Dr John C Spence
    Dr. John C Spence (Ian), is a Non-Executive Director. Ian was a General Medical Practitioner in the east end of Glasgow for 30 years in addition to joining Jim as a Director in 1997. Now retired from medicine, Ian enjoys playing the tuba, gardening and golf.

    James Fisher
    As founder of Saracen Fund Managers in 1997, Jim retains an interest as a Non-Executive Director, remaining a major shareholder in the company. As well as forming a previous asset management business, which included bringing an investment trust to the market, he had a long career in investment management at Scottish Amicable and the Scottish Development Agency. His time is now spent enjoying sporting pursuits with his young son – for his part, mainly as an observer.
